What Did You Play Mondays? July 11, 2016

Join the Board Game Conversation. What Did You Play Mondays: July 11, 2016

What Board Games did you play this week and weekend?

This week we bought and played Imhotep - a very fun game where the bits and pieces of the game (just big wooden blocks) add so much to the game and help create The Fun. The theme is: You are a master builder bringing stones to the different build sites in ancient Egypt and helping to build the pyramids. I'm guessing that some people will feel the theme is a bit abstract, I felt that the mechanics did a good job of matching that. Even without the theme or bits, the game is a fun, easy to learn family (or gateway) game that will likely sit on my shelf beside games like Colt Express and Camel Cup.

Please help grow awareness of the hobby and share this on social media and post using #WhatDidYouPlayMondays
