What Did You Play Mondays? November 26, 2018
Join the Board Game Conversation. What Did You Play Mondays: November 26, 2018
What Board Games did you play last week and/or during the weekend?
This week we played Roll Player with the Monsters and Minions expansion for the first time (Loved it! Might be the perfect expansion. I won't play just the base game with the expansion any more).
Friends taught us Word Slam Family (liked it a lot) and Batman: The Animated Series - Gotham City Under Siege (great cooperative but a bit longer than I had hoped).
Played through a big snakey track of Pitchcar Mini (I am blaming my last place finish on too little coffee), lost pretty badly at Black Orchestra, captured 900,000 humans in our first 2-player game of Tremble, Humans! Card Game (I think this will be much better with more players), got frustrated in Cryptid (but still love that game) and recaptured my love of Isle of Skye: From Chieftain to King (gonna have to check out the expansions).
I also played Letters to Santa (the cutest of the Love Letter rethemes) and Lovecraft Letter, both for the first time (I think this Cthluhu-themed Love Letter is the best!).
It was a great week!
