Join the Board Game Conversation. What Did You Play Mondays: March 18, 2019
Had a great day at my FLGS this Saturday. Board Game Bliss hosts a Make New Friends game day and I got to play:
This was a super busy week as prepared for our booth at BreakoutCon in Toronto. It was a great event with TONS of people. We had a fantastic weekend and met so many people but didn't get to play very many games.
However I did get to play a pre-production copy of the up-coming game, The Artemis Project with the co-designer, Daniel Rocchi. WOW! This is a GREAT worker placement/dice placement game! So many options, tight game play and interesting choices. I LOVED IT!
I bought a copy of the brand new, fresh off the press game, Centrix and introduced to a few people at Breakout Toronto. A super-fun (and great looking!) abstract strategy game with a series or rotating wheels.
And we played a game of Palastgeflüster, which was confusing at first cuz we were playing with the Japanese version and had to decypher the icons but once we got that worked out it was a really interesting game. Like Love Letter - but much, much better.
