Well-funded wars are still raging with innocents caught up in the crossfire, genocide and slavery continue around the globe and news continues to cycle on, politicians continue to lie and we continue to consume as the world burns. Corporate greed, cruelty and predatory behaviour have long ago replaced civility, decency, common courtesy and regard for our fellow human beings.
We need a culture less obsessed with power, money and celebrity and more concerned with mindfulness, fairness and dignity.
