Quick Board Game Review: Gullible

by Chris Cormier

Gullible is a great party game!

Gullible is a great party game! Players break into teams of two, draw a card with an obscure fact on it - something like, "WHAT did the US government temporarily ban in 1943?"

Players are provided with the right answer but must now brainstorm 2 alternative answers that sound like they might be true.

You're trying to deceive the other team and convince them to pick one of your untrue answers. Teams place voting tokens beside the answers they believe are correct. Teams have to discuss possibilities and agree on their replies.

Choose the wrong answer and you lose the tokens that you "bet". The team that loses all their tokens first loses.

This is the perfect alternative to games like Cards Against Humanity as it has a similar feel but the questions are far more palatable and require some creative thought.

Gullible is very quick, filled with cards containing truly fascinating snippets of interesting trivia, has a TON of cards in the box and is super fun to play.
